The Power of Psychotherapy
In my years of experience as a practicing psychotherapist I have come to realize that life’s challenges and stressors sometimes cause us to lose touch with our own unique sense of self. When this happens we become disconnected and are often left feeling alone, ashamed, in conflict with ourselves and others, depressed, and/or anxious. Psychotherapy is a discipline and practice that gives you an opportunity to reconnect with the unique expression of who you are.
It’s about being willing to get out of your head and into your heart. It’s about having the courage to face what’s getting in the way of connecting with yourself and in your relationships. It’s scary, and sometimes messy, but it’s worth the journey of re-writing your script. As human beings we get emotionally injured from our relationships, and this means that we also heal through relationships. As a therapist, I am dedicated to supporting and guiding you through this emotional journey, helping you develop awareness, presence, growth, and healing.
